During the 3-day activity, Supervising TESD Specialist Ricardo B. Detecio introduced the programs and services of TESDA along with the other government agencies who likewise presented the programs of their respective offices.

In support to the objectives of the interagency committee which is to initiate immediate action and response towards community development, TESDA Sorsogon Provincial Office, as the agency tasked to mandate and supervise technical education and skills development (TESD) in the Philippines, has pledged to provide skills training in food processing under the agriculture sector to seventy (70) trainees to be held at Barangay Cogon, Gubat.

The intervention is in support to President Rodrigo Duterte’s 10-point Socio-Economic Agenda in line with TESDA’s commitment and thrust which is “Malasakit at Pagbabago, TESDA, Susi sa Kinabukasan.”
