STEP graduates of Tailoring NC II in municipality of Pto. Diaz receive starter tool kits from TESDA and AKO Bicol Party list
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in cooperation with Ako Bicol Party list awarded tool kits to skills trainees of Tailoring under the Special Training for Employment Program last February 10, 2017 at Pto. Diaz, Sorsogon City.

A total of 15 trainees coming from the different barangays in the municipality of Pto. Diaz received starter tool kits that are purposely aimed at assisting the trainees as they start to generate their own livelihood and business in adherence to the agency’s pursuit of providing training programs that seek to address the specific needs of communities.

Spearheading the distribution were Senior TESD Specialist Dante T. Desuyo, Ako-Bicol Representative Hon. Alfredo A. Garbin Jr., LGU Pto Diaz Municipal Mayor Hon. Benito L. Doma and COA Auditor Francia Sementela.

The said skills training is an intervention program of the agency to address unemployment and poverty incidence in communities through technical vocational trainings that are accessible to the people, most especially the less privileged families.
