TESDA Sorsogon conducts skills training for women in City of Sorsogon
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority conducted a 5-day skills training to cater women in the city of Sorsogon last June 5-9, 2017 at TESDA Sorsogon Provincial Office.

A total of 51 trainees from different barangays in the city of Sorsogon underwent skills training in Perform Manicure and Pedicure and Perform Haircutting in which they were armed with the right skills and knowledge needed as they enter the work force either through employment or entrepreneurship.

The said training is part of the agency’s commitment to invest in a skilled workforce and catalyze a creation of livelihood enterprises by providing community based programs that cater workforce development such as training and skills enhancement.

The manpower skills training was one of collaborative efforts between TESDA Sorsogon and the city office of Sorsogon which aims to further technical vocational education and strengthen livelihood and employment opportunities among communities in the city through skills enhancement and training.
