As the agency tasked to mandate and supervise technical education and skills development (TESD) in the Philippines, TESDA will conduct the Community-based Training and Entrepreneurship Development (CBTED) skills training and assessment of the trainees in various qualifications which were selected based on the skills needs/priorities of the community.
The two hundred eighty-six (286) participants will undergo training under different sectors including tourism, garments, metals and engineering, processed food and beverages, Health, Social and other community development services, construction, automotive and land transportation.
TraBAJO is one of national government’s intervention programs that seeks to institutionalize a workforce development program in LGUs and provide a sustainable intervention that will empower individuals through skills training leading to gainful employment and entrepreneurial activities.
