TESDA Sorsogon, AKO BICOL distribute starter tool kits to STEP graduates of perform diesel engine tune-up
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in cooperation with Ako Bicol Party list awarded tool kits to skills trainees of Perform Diesel Engine Tune-up under the Special Employment Training Program last January 28, 2017 at TESDA Sorsogon Function Hall.

A total of 27 trainees coming from the municipality of Castilla received starter tools kits that comprise of Thickness Gauge/Feeler Gauge, Flat Screw Driver, Philips Screw Driver, Vise Grip and Mechanical Pliers. The said toolkit is purposely aimed at assisting the trainees as they start to generate their own livelihood and business in adherence to the agency’s pursuit of providing training programs that seek to address the specific needs of communities.

Spearheading the distribution were Supervising TESD Specialist Ricardo B. Detecio and Ako-Bicol Representative Hon. Alfredo A. Garbin Jr.

The said skills training is an intervention program of the agency to address unemployment and poverty incidence in communities through technical vocational trainings that are accessible to the people, most especially the less privileged families.
