TESDA Sorsogon takes part in Policy and Project Proposal Showcase by Civil Society Organizations/People’s Organization in municipality of Barcelona
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Sorsogon Provincial Office took part in the Policy and Project Proposal Showcase by Civil Society Organizations/People’s Organization with Senior TESD Specialist Dante T. Desuyo representing the agency last March 30, 2017 at St. Joseph Multi-purpose Hall, Barcelona.

The said showcase was part of “Promoting Democratic Values in the Barangays of Barcelona” project initiated and implemented by Philippine Center for Civic Education and Democracy in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Barcelona, Zabalketa and Spanish Agency for International Cooperation.

The showcase aims to review and present proposals that address the community problems and socio-economic development by seeking public policy interventions in developing action plans for the improvement of the communities.
​
A total of eighteen (18) Civil Society Organizations/People’s Organizations coming from different sectors including women, youth, elderly, persons with disability, farmers, fisher folks, faith-based, cooperative, etc. participated in the said showcase.
