TESDA SORSOGON

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Sorsogon Provincial Office launched Barangay Kasanayan para sa Kabuhayan at Kapayaan program in municipality of Pilar last December 15, 2016 at Bonifacio Court, Pilar, Sorsogon.

The provincial office will be catering five (5) different skills training programs to 125 beneficiaries coming from various barangays in the municipality of Pilar who enlisted under Driving NC II, Electronic Product Assembly and Servicing NC II, Food and Beverage Services NC II, Computer System Servicing NC II and Bread and Pastry Production NC II of which training will be provided by Southern Luzon Technological Foundation Pilar Inc.

The skills training under the BKKK program is set to commence before the year ends in different municipalities in the province including Pilar, Juban, Pto. Diaz, Gubat, Sorsogon City.

The Barangay Kasanayan para sa Kabuhayan at Kapayapaan is a flagship program under the new administration headed by TESDA Director General Guiling “Gene” A. Mamondiong which aims to give equal opportunity to our countrymen who have little access to skills training and offer programs that will directly respond to the skills requirements and employment opportunities in their localities.
