TESDA Region V holds Special Programs Assembly

Anchored to its provision of ensuring quality and efficiency in the implementation of its programs, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Region V conducted a two-day Special Programs Assembly last January 10-11, 2017 at TESDA Conference Room, Region Center Site, Rawis, Legazpi City.

Participated by the focal persons of special programs from different operating units in the region, the said assembly aims to review and assess the action plan and accomplishment reports of each operating unit that shall serve as a tool for the formulation of the action plan for the year 2017.

​

More so, the working templates for special programs including Gender and Development (GAD), Senior Citizen, Solo Parent, Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), Indigenous People (IPs), and Surrendered Drug Users (SDUs) were presented in the assembly to ensure uniformity and accuracy of the accomplishment reports.

​

The said assembly is in pursuance to the agency’s commitment of intensifying its programs and services by providing equal access and provision of special skills training program for the identified groups to empower them and expand their opportunities for socio-economic development as reflected in the 17-point reform and development agenda.
