TESDA Sorsogon, DSWD launch skills training under the Sustainable Livelihood Program in municipality of Gubat
Technical Educational and Skills Development Authority Sorsogon Provincial Office has launched skills training programs under the Sustainable Livelihood Program in partnership with Department of Social Welfare Development and Local Government Unit of Gubat last February 6, 2017 at Gubat, Sorsogon.

The selected beneficiaries will be trained in Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II Product and Hilot Wellness Massage with 25 trainees each qualification under the supervision of qualified and accredited trainers to ensure efficiency and quality of the training.

More so, Supervising TESD Specialist asked for the trainees’ commitment and cooperation in the success of the program and urged them to finish the training until the assessment in order for them to be certified and issued with a national certificate.

Other than the free skills training, the beneficiaries will be receiving a 60 php daily allowance and livelihood toolkits upon completion of the training.

The sustainable livelihood program is a community based capacity-building program that is designed to increase economic opportunities of marginalized families through livelihood assistance such as skills training.
