TESDA Sorsogon, Cong. Evelina Escudero award toolkits to 62 skills trainees under the Special Training for Employment Program
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in partnership with 1st District Congresswoman Evelina Escudero granted skills trainees with livelihood toolkits under the Special Training for Employment Program last February 2, 2017 at TESDA Sorsogon Function Hall.

Of the sixty-two (62) beneficiaries which are comprised mostly of teachers in the city and province of Sorsogon, twenty (20) are graduates of Bread and Pastry Production, twenty-one (21) in Dressmaking and twenty-one (21) in Perform Preventive Maintenance on Motorcycle and Electrical System coming from different municipalities in the province of Sorsogon.

Present to award the livelihood toolkits to the grantees were TESDA Sorsogon Provincial Director Jose V. Serrano Jr., Congresswoman Evelina Escudero, Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Loida N. Nidea and COA Auditor Francia Sementela.
The starter tools kits granted to the beneficiaries are purposely aimed at assisting the trainees as they start to generate their own livelihood and business in the future in adherence to the agency’s commitment of providing training programs that seek to address the specific needs of every individual in the community.

More so, the said skills training is one of the agency’s pursuit of empowering individuals with technical skills and enhanced training by providing them with the basic training enhancements.
