TESDA Sorsogon participates in the 2017 National Women’s Month
Joining the advocacy in inspiring and empowering women and girls to be agents of change by promoting gender equality and the empowerment of all women, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority took part in the celebration of the 2017 National Women’s Month from March 1-31, 2017.

In line with the celebration, the provincial office distributed IEC materials such as flyers as part of its advocacy of raising awareness on gender sensitivity and gender fair education among its clients.

This is pursuant to the General Appropriations Act (GAA) On Programs/Projects Related to Gender and Development (GAD) which seeks to acknowledge the role of Filipino Women in the society.

More so, TESDA stays committed in furthering technical vocational education and strengthening livelihood and employment opportunities among women by continuously providing skills training and enhancements that are gender-sensitive and responsive.
