Team Sorsogon bags silver medal in the 11th ASEAN skills competition at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
After a rigid journey of skills enhancement exercises and psychological, physical and emotional conditioning, skilled competitor Joven Hayagan along with Coach Edward Reyes of Computer Communication Development Institute bagged the silver medal in IT Software Solution for Business Category representing Region V- Sorsogon and the country in the recently concluded 11th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Skills Competition (ASC) held last September 19-29 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Team Sorsogon competed among various I.T. skilled competitors from 10 participating ASEAN countries in 21 skill areas. The Competitors represent the best of their peers and are selected from skills competitions in their respective countries and regions.

The ASEAN Skills Competition is conducted every two years and is the biggest vocational education and skills excellence event in the ASEAN country that promotes the development of quality vocational and technical and work values among the youth and skill workers.
