75 beneficiaries of BuB Scholarship program undergo skills training in Produce Organic Vegetables in municipality of Gubat
About 75 trainees underwent skills training in Produce Organic Vegetables under the Bottom-up Budgeting scholarship program in the municipality of Gubat. The said training program composed of two batches kicked off last July 18, 2016 of which lasted for 42 days and ending with an assessment on September 16, 2016.
Produce Organic Vegetables (Leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II) is a short training course offered by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority which is purposely aimed to provide comprehensive learning opportunities in producing organic farm products such as vegetables. During the duration of the skills training, trainees were able to produce organic vegetables including cabbage, lettuce, eggplant, tomato, ampalaya and squash through the supervision of Mr. Wilfredo F. Verano and Mrs. Rosalinda R. Verano, the well-committed and competent trainers behind the skills training.
Through the utilization of Bottom-up Budgeting program, TESDA Sorsogon brought this skills training to the community in pursuance to its commitment of providing quality programs, trainings and social development projects that are made to address poverty and help communities for employment opportunities as one of the participating agencies and beneficiaries of BuB program.
