TESDA Sorsogon completes BuB skills training in Raise Small Ruminants and Raise Poultry

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority successfully completed two of its training programs in two different municipalities in the province of Sorsogon for the month of November.

About 25 trainees in Raise Small Ruminants (Leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II) in the municipality of Gubat and 25 trainees in Raise Poultry (Leading to Animal Production NC II) in Casiguran completed the said training courses both with nominal duration of 30 training days.

As part of its mandate to enforce efficient skills training, TESDA Sorsogon provided twelve (12) goats and fifty (50) chickens in the respective municipalities with skills training in full support to its program specifically in the agricultural sector. The twelve goats will be taken cared of individually for production and dispersal.

The said skills training is under the Bottom-Up Budgeting program of the agency which aims to provide skills enhancements and training programs and help communities for employment opportunities.
